I went to the Rest Is Best surf kayak competition, which took place at rest bay in Porthcawl. Conditions were small, but everyone had some waves, and had some fun.

Great social evening on the Saturday, left a few people with cloudy heads for Sundays competition in heavy onshore waves.

I placed 2nd in the open high performance class, and 1st in the open international class.

Big thanks to Chris Watson for organising the event, it went of smoothly and a great time was had by everyone!
