Yea surf and scrumpy comp… !! well more scrumpy than surf. Some of us got there friday straight from work in anticipation for the surf! but no such luck! so we met up with chris hobson and his better half Amy! that ended in drinking lots of cider! and chicken and chips!! thanks Amy!

Come saturday and we are meet with rain and 30mph onshore winds! so the decision was made to seek shelter and free surf for the day then return to bude to camp,BBQ and yes lots more cider!!
Sunday brings much better conditions with sun shine light winds and 2 and bit ft of dumping heavy surf perfect for most peoples hangovers.
For a social surf comp it was much more fun than being stuck to 20min heat times and judging !! its just a day of free surfing come and go as you please and knowing that someone has a camera on you makes you give your best!

A big thanks to Sam Jones and Lucy Garbutt for putting on the event who sadly could not make it on the Sunday due to an incident with a dog… Hope you make a speedy recovery Lucy ! and cant wait for SURF and SCRUMPY part 2!!

Tough day today, with the surf not really doing its thing. Unfortunately got knocked out in second round, and a few other big names knocked out too. Sam davenport, Aidan Brackenbury, Glyn Brackenbury from hp.

We woke up today to some more rain and wind, and after a quick look at hossegor we decided to go to mundaka.

We arrived to a chunky 6-8ft, with cross shore wind. So we checked in to our hotel and got in the surf.

We had some fun waves, and as the evening continued it got cleaner and hollower. Looking forwards to tomorrow , we should get 2 sessions in!
