Took a trip to the French Alps a few weeks ago, had such a great time, and a fantastic holiday with friends old and new.

Mundaka 2013
So we went to Mundaka again this year for the Championships. This was my tenth year there, and was very excited for excellent surf!! Lets just say, Mundaka did not disappoint… We arrived to 24 degrees, double over head glassy surf, and it was magical!
Throughout the rest of the trip, we had good waves, sunshine, hail stones, and everything in between…. Was great to see old friends, new friends, and I really had a great time!
I was very happy to finish in 3rd place in a very tough final.

Saturday Sessions
This Saturday I had a couple of great sessions with friends. Surfing mostly local spots to my home in Cornwall, we had some heavy beat downs, hollow rides, and big airs… Check out the pictures below!

This morning I was at Nookie HQ doing some product design, working on the NEW Ti Deck!
These are my two favourite pieces of kit, the long sleeve Ti Top, and Nookie Spraydeck!
They have kindly put into production this new top, which incorporates the two, allowing for even more water tightness, comfort, and allows you to be even less restricted in your boat!
Can’t wait to get it next week and test it! ( AND the new board shorts!! )

Coolcara – The movie
A couple of years ago, I was lucky enough to be asked to come along for a few days filming in Ericera Portgual, so I could have a segment in the latest movie from world renowned waveski film maker, Xaver Walser.
Coolcara is the latest Waveski film coming from the Sub Graviti Production House. Its also the last film from Director Xaver Walser. During Xaver’s 12 years of making waveski films he made 9 movies and he is very thankful for all that the wonderful sport of waveski brought him. Coolcara is an action packed 1 hour film that was filmed over 3 years in South Africa, Australia and Portugal. Featuring the likes of Caroline Angibaud (FR), Lionel Angibaud (FR), Mathieu Babarit (FR), Travis Best (AUS), Andre Burger (RSA), Malan Calitz (RSA), Rees Duncan (AUS), Chris Hobson (IRE), Virgile Humbert (FR), Mathieu Jonneaux (FR), Coralie Jousset (FR), Tyler Lausten (HAW) Arthur Schott (RUN) and Neal Stephenson (RSA).
